Karmic Connections

I set out to write about my music evolution, but thought there was something more intriguing that I should share. I cannot stress enough how captivating this move to Australia has been for me. It is as though, each situation was meticulously modeled to teach and expand my awareness.

I am baffled at the variety of situations and most importantly, people I have crossed paths with from various culture, background and experiences. There is nothing but learning in this universe, some do with books and some learn from mistakes (experiences). Learning through hard experiences makes one strong and if you are in the path of self discovery the same experience can sprout as wisdom. I have met so many different types of people (outside of work) in the last 8 years, which has only left me in a state of ponder. It is as if there was a deep past connection and I ‘had’ to meet them to settle scores, which makes me believe that past was either repeated or continued, unbelievable!!

Some connections are created in the current times and some are passed down from the past. Strong past connections turn out as relationships such as friends, partners, relatives, and sometimes even enemies! But how does one know this? This is where intuition helps us and the more we are established in ourselves, greater is clarity of the intuition. This is a hard one to prove, in fact it is beyond proof and cannot be rightly perceived through logic! Being a witness and meditation is the answer.

Then comes the question, why am I crossing paths with these people and what scores am I to settle when I have lost contact with most of them? We all know that this is almost impossible to find out. It is just done because it has to be done! The ‘learned’ list is big and I will for sure share this some day. Often I have found myself in a setting where I end up playing the role of a guide similar to a traffic cop directing them somewhere or a listener to provide them interim relief and clarity to move on. It took me years to realise why people not known to me, shared their burden and just disappear. The mind was questioning at the start but once I was in sync with what was happening, it was clear I had become a garbage collector.

Connections is an interesting topic, I have on many occasions experienced how energy shifts (within me) depending on the vibrations of people, place or situations! sometimes pleasant, neutral and often joy as if you have met your soul mate! haha. The fascinating part of this process is why & how do we feel these emotions and why should it be different. This was one of the triggers for my quest to know thyself that started many years ago.

Over the years this has changed, with regular practices and digging deeper, the consciousness is harnessed, in local terms you are more baked! which I believe makes it almost insensitive, or rather encompassing, to external vibrations. This is an aspect of spiritual growth when seeking and self-discovery becomes your nature. This also reminds me that there is no end to this and can go on for lifetimes. This is the hard problem of consciousness and I am not sure if anyone has really solved this through science.

Harnessing the consciousness is not the goal or objective, instead it is gaining the ability to recognise that there is something beyond logic, body, thoughts, emotions and which is very subtle & close to us. So all we are doing is getting used being in this state or in lay man’s word we are riding on it. Because, if the consciousness is ‘pure’ then there is nothing to harness, its just our minds that is required to be tamed to develop this cognitive ability and acknowledge the fact there is something unseen that exists which influences all functions of this beautiful world.
